Tomorrow’s Ark: The End of the World’s Two-week Hand-to-Wit, 30 million dollars, nearly 70 percent of the Asian market.

According to estimates by the market research institute AppMagic, a new role-playing game, the Ark of Tomorrow: The End of the World, has spent $30.5 million on mobile players in Google Play and App Store since the world went online for two weeks. The actual total income is likely to be higher if the consumption of players in PC, PS5 and web shops is included. The mobile end income includes a small estimated income from January 21st (the day before the game officially went online), which appears to be due to the fact that some Western players entered the game and consumed it earlier than the official date. In Google and Apple stores, the game earned $2.5 million on its first day and then peaked at $4.2 million on 23 January, a 68 per cent increase in daily income. Since then, mobile end-day income has been declining for 12 consecutive days. The most recent data point (4 February) for mobile players is estimated at $1.1 million.

It is important to note that a draw card type game usually has rapid income peak fluctuations when new content is online. The head products of this class, such as ” The God of the Earth ” , ” Love and Deep Space ” , and the card game ” The TGC Pocket ” , all show significant income peaks when updating the new card pool and then falling back until the next update. So far, mobile players in Arks of Tomorrow: End of the Day have been spending mainly from Asian markets, with Japan leading by 35 per cent and China following by 33 per cent. The United States had become the third largest market, contributing 10 per cent of global expenditure, followed by the Republic of Korea with 9 per cent. China, Japan and the United States are also the largest markets for the former Ark of Tomorrow, which came on line in 2019, with a cumulative income to date of $1.7 billion.

In addition to the application store payments, the game had a payment problem on the first day of the launch: some PayPal users had been misdeducted, accumulated misdeducted in excess of $80,000 and a single maximum deduction in excess of $5,000. In response, the Eagle Point network responded quickly, banning PayPal from the payment route and making refunds and compensation for the lost player. From an industry perspective, the Ark of Tomorrow: The End of the Day was launched in such a way that its income curve fits the typical feature of the heavy-draw card game, namely, the rapid convergence of core users at an early stage through high-quality content and IP appeal. The dominant position of Asian markets (77 per cent for China, Japan and Korea combined) confirms the deep base of players in the East Asian region of the Ark.
