The South-East Asia Games Fair and the Thai Games Fair recently concluded with a total of 206159 visitors, the highest number of participants since the event. At the Axis-based Thai Game Awards ceremony, Light and Shadow: Expedition 33 won the year’s crown and became the biggest winner that night.

The current Thai Games Awards have two categories: hardware and the game industry. Light and Shadow: Expedition No. 33, which included several prizes, won not only the best role-playing game, the best PC/host game and the best human-behaviour voting prize, but eventually the grand prize for 2025. At a closing ceremony, the Minister of Commerce of Thailand, Suphajee Suthumpun, announced important news: Although this was the first time that the Cologne Games had been held in Thailand, the organizers had determined that they would continue to land in Bangkok next year. Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region, Cologne Exhibition, confirmed that the 2026 Fair would continue in Bangkok from 29 October to 1 November.
